The Saskatoon Retriever Club is thrilled to welcome the 2023 Canadian National Master Hunt Tests to our grounds. Our Clubhouse property has seven wetland basins that feature mounds, points, channels and islands spread over 143 acres of hay land. With fresh water provided by a major irrigation channel bordering the property, we can guarantee the highest quality environment for water tests. Our technical pond sitting in the middle of these grounds will no doubt catch the eye of our judges who will have plenty of options when setting their tests.
Our Lost River property is a full quarter section, situated a few minutes down the road. Rolling grassland, poplar bluffs, and large round bales afford many challenging scenarios for land and upland series. Numerous private properties will be available for pre - event training, airing and exercise. We ask that competitors respect our neighbours' property as well as our own. Please pick up waste materials and stay on roads and trails. Our guests are advised to exercise caution while driving around the area. Deer and moose are numerous, and there is a good chance of encountering large equipment engaged in farming activity.Â
