FAQ: Onsite Attendees

For those able to join us onsite, please be sure to read the below in its entirety.

Where is the event being held and how do I attend?
The Blockly 2023 Summit will be held in-person at Google Cambridge and RSVP is required. The space requires capping capacity so only RSVP to attend in person if you're sure you're able to make it. If you're unable to attend in person, we hope you'll be able to tune in to the livestream. 

Please note: Proof of vaccination isn't required to enter the Google office and event spaces.
Upon checking in, you must provide proof of a valid ID. Masks will be provided and are optional. 

Is the event open to everyone? Can I share this event with a friend or colleague?
This event is open to developers familiar with and using Blockly. Please feel free to share the site directly with anyone you think might be interested in joining in-person or via the livestream. RSVP is required to attend in person.

Can I attend in-person if I do not live in those metro areas?
Yes, but Google will not cover or reimburse your travel expenses. Any expenses that you incur traveling to/from the in-person events will be out-of-pocket.

Will Google provide me with a VISA letter?

Google is happy to provide a VISA letter to those requiring such to travel. Please be sure to denote requirements of such in your RSVP and an electronic version of a signed letter will be emailed to you. Please note that Google will cover no expenses tied to attainment of a VISA.

Will food be served?
Yes! A light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack will be provided. We aim to accommodate all dietary considerations.

How do I get to and enter the Google office?

Confirmation details will be emailed to you within two weeks of the event. Please stay tuned!

What commitment do I make as an attendee?
