There is an explosion of new online mapping tools for federal databases that can be used to enhance site inventories and climate adaptation planning. This session will explore strategies for efficiently using a number of these tools (for example, EnviroAtlas, EJScreen, CEJST, CMRA, FEMA National Risk Index) in your site inventories.
We will demonstrate ways to improve the use of spreadsheets, mapping platforms, and the Brownfields Inventory Tool (BiT) in managing site inventories. The session will emphasize strategies for easily running quality control checks, moving between platforms (for example, spreadsheets to maps, spreadsheets to BiT/ACRES, EnviroAtlas to EJScreen, BiT to EnviroAtlas), and incorporate data from federal databases into site inventories.
This will be an on-demand session with extensive demonstrations, hands-on activities and short videos from guests to discuss case studies and real world applications.
