How to Apply for a Work Permit
To apply for a student work permit online, start by creating an account on the Workforce Development Agency website.
Next, review the introductory information and follow the manuals .

Foreigners working in Taiwan, including part-time jobs, must have a work permit.
Students who work without a valid work permit will be fined between NT$30,000 and NT$150,000, and may also face restrictions on leaving Taiwan.
Duration for application of work permit:10/01(applying year) to 9/30(next year in the academic year) One-year maximum.
Maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester. Unlimited hours during summer and winter vacations.
