Mandarin Course
Master’s degree students must complete 4 credit hours (1 class) of Mandarin courses before graduating.
ICDF scholarship recipients need to complete the TaiwanICDF online Mandarin courses before departure for Taiwan.
Both IMBA and IMPISA will hold non-credit Intensive Mandarin Course once or twice each year.
Students can waive 4 Mandarin Credit hours by passing TOCFL level A1 or by attending NTHU Mandarin Credit Waiver Test.
Test of Chinese as Foreign Language (TOCFL)
The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) is a set of standardized language proficiency tests developed for non-native speakers of Chinese.
Four bands include: Band Novice, Band A, Band B, and Band C. Each band is further divided into two levels making a total of eight levels: Novice 1, Novice 2, and Level 1 to Level 6.
TOCFL has three kinds of test type. TaiwanICDF will cover your TOCFL registration fee for each test type for once.
