Evaluation of Project Activities at the Coordinator's Office in Poland
During a recent mobility session at the project coordinator's office in Poland, participants engaged in an evaluation of the various project activities. This evaluation was conducted through a discussion centered around the following key question:
Which of the activities conducted during the meeting in Poland have you found most enjoyable thus far? Please provide a justification for your response.
Activity Overview
The activities assessed included:
Team-building activities and designing flyers in Canva
Journey to Białowieża: Museum visit, bison sanctuary exploration, and a bonfire
Workshops on cooking, gardening, and sewing
Visit to the "Puszczyk" Forest School
Workshop Insights
The cooking, gardening, and sewing workshops emerged as the most enjoyable activities, receiving the highest ratings from the majority of participants. These workshops were praised for their hands-on nature and the opportunity they provided for practical learning and creativity.
Excursion to Białowieża National Park
The journey to Białowieża National Park was ranked second, garnering particular favor among participants from Portugal. The unique experiences of visiting the museum, exploring the bison sanctuary, and enjoying a bonfire were highlighted as memorable aspects of the trip. However, many Polish students had already visited the park prior to this event, which influenced their ratings.
Visit to "Puszczyk" Forest School
The visit to the "Puszczyk" Forest School also received positive feedback. Participants appreciated the immersive educational experience amidst nature, which emphasized the importance of environmental conservation.
Team-Building and Computer Classes
While team-building activities and designing flyers in Canva were acknowledged, they did not receive as high a rating as other activities. The computer classes, in particular, were the least favored, indicating a potential area for improvement in engagement or content delivery.
Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection Initiatives
The project also places a strong emphasis on sustainable development and environmental protection, integrating these values into the daily operations of educational institutions. Key initiatives include:
Environmental Education: Promoting awareness to reduce waste through recycling, waste segregation, and encouraging sustainable food practices.
Collaboration and Oversight: Partnering with organizations to integrate project outcomes into regular operations, establishing a digital platform for the exchange of methodologies among educators and learners, and promoting project results through regional publications and conferences.
Technology Integration: Enhancing digital skills for educators and learners to minimize paper use through ICT tools such as Canva and Goosechase.
Innovative Waste Applications: Incorporating waste into artistic projects and maintaining "forest gardens" within educational facilities.
International Projects and Inclusion
To foster greater inclusivity and participation, the project emphasizes:
Increasing involvement in European initiatives
Improving accessibility to online teaching materials
Prioritizing the inclusion of students with limited opportunities
These efforts aim to create a more inclusive, environmentally conscious, and technologically adept educational environment, resonating with the values of sustainability and global cooperation.
