Ecological Excursion to Białystok within the Erasmus+ Program
"All We Need is Green"
Introduction
From 10 to 14 March 2025, Białystok and its vicinity hosted an inspiring and educational visit as part of the Erasmus+ program, featuring representatives from schools in Croatia, Portugal, and Poland. The event was organized by Primary School No. 9 in Białystok. This visit provided an exceptional opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance understanding of sustainable development and environmental protection.
Day 1: Integration and Instruction
On March 10, participants engaged in classes focused on energy conservation and water preservation, applicable both at home and in educational settings. The day's agenda also featured workshops on website creation, enabling participants to enhance their digital competencies.
Day 2: Excursion to Białowieża National Park
On March 11, participants embarked on an excursion to Białowieża National Park. During the visit, they explored the Museum of Nature and Forestry, which enhanced their understanding of the local flora and fauna. The day concluded with a bonfire in Malinówka, providing an opportunity for everyone to unwind and exchange their impressions.
Day 3: Applied Workshop
March 12 featured a diverse array of workshops. Participants engaged in cooking, upcycling, and planting classes. These workshops equipped them with practical skills applicable to their daily lives, thereby contributing to sustainable development.
Day 4: Outdoor Learning
On March 13, participants attended the Puszczyk Forest School, where outdoor workshops took place. These sessions highlighted the significance of engaging with nature and fostered teamwork skills.
Day 5: Environmental Revolution
The final day of the visit, March 14, was devoted to the Eco-Revolution, aimed at enhancing ecological awareness. The highlight of the event was a march at Kościuszko Square, advocating the principles of the project "ALL We Need is GREEN." Participants sang the project's anthem, distributed seedlings, and engaged in workshops at the Arsenał Gallery. The day concluded with an evaluation and the presentation of certificates.

The visit to Poland as part of the Erasmus+ program was not merely an educational experience; it was also an emotional journey that left a profound impact on all participants.
