Our goal is to unite researchers and to share ongoing research in hopes of increasing knowledge and collaborations between our two institutions. To reach these goals we are inviting abstracts based on research conducted by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows that is ongoing (i.e., data are not yet completely collected and/or results are not yet completely analyzed) or recently published (i.e., within 6 months of the colloquium date). 

Abstracts for both oral presentations and posters should be uploaded as a PDF file (300 word limit, excluding keywords). For specific abstract requirements please click here before submitting. Abstracts will be accepted and assigned to either oral or poster presentation by recommendation of a joint Academia Sinica-The Chinese University of Hong Kong committee comprising PIs not involved in either of the respective organizing committees. 

Registration & Abstract Deadline: October 4th, 2024 (before 11:59pm)

Abstract Decisions: October 7, 2024

*Please note that any person entering the country with a Chinese passport will require an official letter of invitation issued by Academia Sinica. All participants registering with Chinese passports will be contacted and issued the required letter prior to the colloquium. Participants holding a Hong Kong passport are exempt from this requirement.
