Course Description: This two-part presentation will focus on the new version of the AOTA Fieldwork Performance Evaluation for occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant students on Level II fieldwork. In the first part, presenters will share background on the history and development of the new evaluation tool. In the second part of the session, presenters will provide a step-by-step demonstration of how to complete the evaluation using Formstack, which AOTA uses to house the evaluation.

2022-SC15: Developing an OT curriculum in Haiti: The role of cultural humility and community based rehabilitation.

Course Description: This proposal describes an international collaboration between Canadian, US, and Haitian institutions to develop and support the first in-country baccalaureate program in occupational therapy offered in Haiti. Course Description: Cultivating meaningful and educational fieldwork experiences is integral in the success of students in entry-level occupational therapy practitioner programs. This course will train both faculty and clinicians how to utilize a student-run camp model as a level I fieldwork experience. This model allows for supervision of multiple students at once while providing community-based group interventions for various clients and populations and can be utilized via telehealth or in-person design.

Strategies for integrating activities into in-person and online learning will be presented.

Course Description: Cultivating meaningful and educational fieldwork experiences is integral in the success of students in entry-level occupational therapy practitioner programs. This course will train both faculty and clinicians how to utilize a student-run camp model as a level I fieldwork experience. This model allows for supervision of multiple students at once while providing community-based group interventions for various clients and populations and can be utilized via telehealth or in-person design.
