The SAGE JOURNEY offers a path of support and opportunities for camp alumni: from high school through college and into their first jobs in the National Laboratory network. Specifically, students are offered opportunities for ongoing engagement through events, internships, jobs, and eventually leadership roles.
SAGE Mission is to engage curious and passionate students, and empower them to explore a wide range of possibilities for their future.
Hosted by professional leaders who share their passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), SAGE builds community, fosters innovation, and sets students on a path to exciting careers, like those they’ll learn about at the Department of Energy’s National Laboratories.
In conjunction with the Department of Energy National Laboratories, SAGE aims to broaden gender diversity in STEM and foster creativity and innovation for continued scientific and technological leadership.
SAGE promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion and seeks to eliminate barriers that are based on gender, race, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, handicap, or intelligence.
