Location and Map of Academia Sinica
1. From Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport To Academia Sinica:
Taxi:
Taxis queue outside the Arrival Halls of both Terminal Ι and Terminal II of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, available 24/7. Bus: (bus + taxi)
Take Bus Route 1843 (Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport). The terminal stop is Nankang Exhibition Center. The bus fare is NT$145 , roughly 5 USD. High Speed Rail: (shuttle + high speed rail + taxi/mrt/bus)
Take U Bus (統聯) from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Taiwan High Speed Rail Station(Taoyuan station)(NT$30), then get on the High speed rail (Taoyuan to Taipei). Adult single fare is about NT$ 160, and the journey time lasts about 20 minutes. Get off at Taipei Main Station, then you can take Taxi / MRT / City Bus to Academia Sinica. 2. From Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport To Taipei city:
Taxi:

Bus: (bus + taxi)
Taiwan Bus Corp. (Kuo-Kuang Line): [Route 1819] to Taipei Railway Station and [Route 1840/1841]Taipei Sung Shan Airport. You may get off at either stop and then take a taxi to Academia Sinica for approximately NT$300.
Evergreen: [Route 5201] to ZhongXiao-FuXing MRT Station. If you only have light packages, this is a good way to save money. You can get off at ZhongXiao-FuXing MRT Station, take MRT “Blue Line” and get off at the terminal stop “Kunyang”. Walk out the station and take a taxi to Academia Sinica for about NT$120.

Take Blue Line (Bannan Line) to Nankang Station (Exit 2), then take bus 212, 270 or Blue 25 to Academia Sinica Stop.
Or, take Blue Line (Bannan Line) to Nankang Exhibition Center Station (Exit 5), then take bus 205, 212, 276, 306, 620, 645, 679, minibus 1, minibus 5, or minibus 12 to Academia Sinica Stop.
