Two divisions: Open Primary and Open Secondary.
Schools bring teams of 4 players.
The event will be played via the classic board 1, board 2, board 3, board 4 team format.
Schools may bring 1 reserve player to substitute into the team at their discretion. However players must remain in the same order of playing strength. E.g. If a player from board 1 was substituted, the team's board 2 player moves up to board 1, the board 3 player moves up to board 2 etc.
Schools must submit their team order prior to the start of the event. These will be reviewed by the tournament organisers for accuracy.
The teams pairings will be decided by a swiss system.
Time control will be 20min + 3sec increment.
Schools must have accumulated at least 10 points across Class A to C events qualify for the finals.
