    • • Only the snap fitting parts are actually critical to our design - fewer critical dimensions to worry about

  • Background

    • • Add a shoulder for the background to rest on so that it remains correctly oriented within the yo-yo's main body

      • Simplify the interface between the koi and the background piece

      • Background was previously too thick for injection molding

Manufacturing Changes

• • Koi

    • • Too small to make a machined mold for (some features are smaller than the smallest end mill)

      • Pivot to 3D printing or laser cutting the koi

  • Lily Pads

    • • Consider overmolding
