Being a Scout

When you join Scouts, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things.

Who are Scouts?

Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10 ½ to 14 who: 

• Master new skills and try new things

• Make new friends

• Have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad

• Explore the world around them

• Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond

Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.

Who do I contact?

You will be invited to the WhatsApp group once your Scout starts, you can ask general questions on there. You will also be invited to Online Scout Manager (OSM) where we update the schedule of the meetings, and  more.

Where and when do you meet?

We meet on Tuesdays in school term time at 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Wilstead Jubilee Centre
