1st grade place-based unit
In the fall, 1st graders revisit the history, cultural significance, and stewardship of Maria’s Lingít potatoes. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and discussions, students will explore the importance of community and working together by harvesting the same potatoes they planted in the spring as kindergarten students.
