This school partnership ONE MISSION, ONE VISION, ONE FOCUS has been established for cooperation and exchange of experiences for pupils with special learning needs.

The schools from Romania,Turkey, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, and Republic of Macedonia exchange teaching methods, materials and practices, and developed teachers’ competences and training in this field. The aims of "ONE MISSION, ONE VISION, ONE FOCUS" is encourage the involvement of pupils from vulnerable groups in the educational process, to improve cooperation with parents of pupils who have learning difficulties and to assist them to integrate in school environment/peer groups, and improve the professional competences of staff working with pupils who have difficulties. Workshops for parents of children from deprived environments and with developmental disabilities will be made to raise their capacity to support their children in need; The quality of our teaching profession is the single most critical factor in sustaining and enhancing the quality of outcomes in our project. Capacity building of teachers to work with pupils from vulnerable groups, approaches and techniques; workshops will be made by 25 trained teachers from each participating school to support peer learning among school staff.All the schools work with pupils with special needs: mental disabilities, behavioural problems, social problems, leasing difficulties, autistic disorder…A total of 1024 students, 100 teachers and 1024 parents will be benefited from the project directly.

OBJECTIVES:

The primary goal of “ONE MVF" project is to allow schools to develop and reinforce networks, increase their capacity to operate at transnational level, and share and confront ideas, practices and methods. The most important objective in “ONE MISSION, VISION, FOCUS" is the training of teachers in the area of support for pupils with 'special educational needs' and to provide additional tools in the areas of differentiated teaching and to gain an understanding of Special Educational Needs; specifically autism spectrum disorder; social, emotional;behavioural difficulties; mild general learning disability;Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Attention Deficit Disorder

WORK PROCESS

During the three year project duration, there took place local and 6 learning/teaching/trainingactivities. For achieving these targets the partner organisations arranged and coordinate together activities connected to the four main areas: autism spectrum disorder, social, emotional, behavioural difficulties, Learning Difficulties including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Attention Deficit Disorder. These activities followed different methodological approaches so they ensure a maximum number of students to take part on them. Activities are adapted to different age groups and diversity, arranging different options for Special Needs students and other learners with difficulties. Apart from these activities, it was become essential the participation of teachers from each school to the Learning Teaching Training Activities which were organised during 6 different weeks at diverse partners schools, and where all of them attended conferences, lectures, workshops conducted by specialists. These training sessions allowed participant teachers acquire a valuable knowledge that will be shared with colleagues back at their schools in peer coach sessions. Then each partner organisation adapt that new expertise in activities to implement with students. All the resultant activities and studies were shared with families, local community and regional services through different vias: uploading information in the project website; writing reports; workshops and conferences open to the local areas and teachers network in general. With all that the intention of the project is to arrive to the maximum number of individuals as possible.
