Our primary aim is to design metal complexes with therapeutic potential, and to extend the work to in vitro biochemical mechanism evaluation and animal studies.

We tune ligand electronics, coordination environment (including uncommon geometries), and redox properties to shape stability and function. We then perform in vitro biochemical assays—enzyme inhibition, redox/activity probes, and protein–ligand binding—to systematically assess activity and mechanisms, and extend to animal studies when appropriate.

We pursue robust ligand frameworks and well-defined active species for redox and coupling chemistry. Using kinetics and spectroscopic mechanistic probes, plus benchmarking under practical conditions, we improve durability and performance.

Density functional theory and related analyses help quantify σ-donation/π-acceptance, trans effects, and reaction pathways. Where relevant, docking or QM/MM bridges molecules with biomolecular targets. Sensitivity analyses and full input/output sharing support reproducibility.
