Tagline: Organometallics & Chemical Biology of Transition-Metal Complexes
Short bio: Jong Hyun Kim leads the Kim Research Group at Asbury University. His group links synthesis, biochemistry, and computation (DFT/docking) to design bioactive and catalytic metal complexes. He is committed to mentorship, reproducible research, and service to the community.
Tagline: Cyclometalated Platinum Complexes — Synthesis, Protein Modeling, and Chemical Biology Reviews.
Short bio: Logan is currently engaged in three areas of research. First, he synthesizes platinum complexes with potential anticancer activity and studies their properties. Second, he participates in research using Google AlphaFold3 to investigate protein structures and signaling pathways. Third, he contributes to the writing of a comprehensive review article on cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs).
We’re building a team that pairs rigorous research with student-centered mentoring. If you’re excited about organometallics, catalysis, or computation (DFT/docking), we’d love to hear from you.
