Hi, I’m Sharmaine Hsu, a student with a big heart and even bigger dreams. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Elementary Education because I believe teaching is one of the most profound ways to make a difference. Education, for me, isn’t just about textbooks and lessons—it’s about being a guiding light, helping young minds grow, and creating a safe space where they feel valued and inspired. I dream of being the kind of teacher who not only teaches but also deeply connects, someone my students can look back on and remember fondly.

When I’m not immersed in my studies, I’m someone who treasures life’s simple joys. Books have always been a source of comfort and adventure for me. Every story I read broadens my perspective and fuels my curiosity. Gardening is my way of staying grounded—there’s something so fulfilling about nurturing plants and watching them thrive. It’s a quiet reminder that growth, whether in a garden or in life, takes time and care.

I’m also an animal lover through and through. I adore dogs for their loyalty and energy, and cats hold an especially special place in my heart. Their playful yet independent nature never fails to brighten my day, and I love the cozy companionship they bring.

And then, of course, there’s coffee—a simple pleasure I can’t imagine life without. Whether it’s a morning cup that kick-starts my day or an afternoon treat as I dive into my books, coffee is like a little hug in a mug. It keeps me grounded, energized, and ready to take on whatever challenges come my way.

At my core, I’m someone who values connection, kindness, and growth. Whether it’s through nurturing relationships, exploring my hobbies, or preparing for a career in education, I aim to approach everything with warmth and purpose.
