Plot Overview

In The Novel "1984" By George Orwell, Winston, a man who lives in a city where a party is in power and is in control of everything, is faced with the desire of freedom and truth. Winston then secretly starts to question the party and starts to rebel by commiting all kinds of crimes, but is ultimately caught by the party. This results in the torturing of Winston by the party which then forces him to accept the party.
