Southwest Project
*12-15 minutes a day per subject area for a total of 60 mins per week.
**This project is intended to be completed over the next 3 weeks. I would try to do 1-2 word pages a day.
Step One
You will work on finding nonfiction articles to help you construct your own book on the ABCs of the Southwest.
Use the research sites below, your notebooks, and the notes posted below to help you identify a word for each letter of the alphabet that relates to the Southwest.
For example, A: Austin, TX, B: Butte, C:
Once you find an article, copy the link to your source in an Office 365 document so you don't lose them.

Step Two
Use the research that you gathered to write...
- 2-4 sentences for each word you chose for the region.
- 1-2 sentences on what the object, thing, place, etc.
- 1-2 sentences about it's importance/relation to the Southwest Region.

Step Three
Now you can create your ABCs book in a couple different ways...
- Powerpoint
- Sway
- Book Creator (Code: 6MHTKQ5)
- On paper
Please remember this is YOUR book therefore you need to use YOUR words.
