Dear Exhibitor,

The REFORMA Northeast Chapter is delighted to invite you to participate in our 15th Annual Joint Mini-Conference: Multicultural Books Fair, which will be held at our 15th Annual Joint Mini-Conference on Friday, May 10th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Langston Hughes Library. This year’s theme is “Bridge Over Troubled Water: Libraries Empowering Communities.”

If you would like to participate to promote and feature your newest titles, here are the options offered to vendors:

OPTION 1: Exhibit Table & Book Buzz - Two Sessions ($200)

· Allows distributors/publishers to exhibit their literary materials and present a selection of titles

Company representatives have 10 minutes in the morning to present juvenile & young adult titles AND 10 minutes in the afternoon to present adult titles.

OPTION 2: Exhibit Table & Book Buzz - One Session ($175)

· Allows distributors/publishers to exhibit their literary materials and present a selection of titles

· Company representatives have 10 minutes in the morning to present juvenile & young adult titles OR 10 minutes in the afternoon to present adult titles.

OPTION 3: Exhibit Table ($125)

· Allows distributors/publishers to exhibit their literary materials.

OPTION 4: Book Buzz - Two Sessions ($100)

· Allows distributors/publishers to present a selection of titles

· Company representatives have 10 minutes in the morning to present juvenile & young adult titles AND 10 minutes in the afternoon to present adult titles.

OPTION 5: Book Buzz - One Session ($75)

· Allows distributors/publishers to present a selection of titles

· Company representatives have 10 minutes in the morning to present juvenile & young adult titles OR 10 minutes in the afternoon to present adult titles.

OPTION 6: Collective Exhibition Option (CEO) Table ($50)

· Allows Exhibitors who cannot attend in person to have a presence at the Book Fair and have their promotional materials/catalogs displayed at a joint table.

OPTION 7: Artist Exhibit Table/Space ($25) allows artists to exhibit their artworks.

If you would like to promote and feature your multicultural paintings, sculptures, ornaments, crafts and other artistic works, here is the option offered to Artwork Exhibitors (AWE):


NOTE:

  • The contribution fee will be applied to the REFORMA Northeast Chapter general fund, in case the exhibitor is not able to attend the event, or/and promotional materials/catalogs do not arrive on time for the event.
  • The following information should be sent prior to March 15, 2010 to be posted on the RNE event website in electronic format at rnechapterevents@gmail.com:
  • Literary exhibit: Name, company logo, and five top titles (Including author, price and ISBN.)
  • RNE event organizers shall not bear any responsibility for damage to the exhibitor’s property or for lost shipments either coming in or going out of the venue and/or exhibit space or for moving costs. Damage to inadequately packed property is the exhibitor’s own responsibility. If the exhibitor’s products to be exhibited and/or display materials fail to arrive, the exhibitor agrees to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify RNE from any and all claims involving damages and /or loss to the exhibitor’s property or likeness.
  • The Coordinating Committee must approve any change in the stipulations listed above prior to April 12, 2019.
  • Shipped materials (no more than 2 boxes for Exhibit Table and 1 box for CEO Table) should be clearly identified and sent to:
