My analysis of 12twenty influenced how I think about future learning technology ventures. Through my experience managing a graduate-level internship program, I observed that providing students with career opportunities does not always translate into active engagement. Some students struggled with completing key career readiness activities, including applying for positions, networking, and preparing for recruitment.
This led me to consider whether career technology platforms could incorporate personalized motivation systems through progress tracking, milestones, and goals to better support student engagement. This insight will inform my Assignment #3 venture opportunity, which will explore ways to improve student motivation and persistence throughout the career development process.
AI tools were used throughout this analysis to support brainstorming, organize ideas, refine writing, and consider alternative perspectives.
