Kristin, teacher-author of Samson’s Shoppe, has been a middle school special education teacher for eleven years. She has a masters degree in Literacy. In addition, she has a great interest in incorporating technology in the classroom. She has completed her Level 2 Google Certification and is also a Nearpod Certified Educator. This is Sherri's 25th year working in education. Most of her career has been spent teaching (and loving!) 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, with a few high school AP English classes sprinkled in for the joy of it! In addition to classroom teaching, Sherri has been a curriculum writer since 2012. She is passionate about creating resources for students that make rigorous learning fun, engaging, and interactive. Sherri believes when students are able to function at high levels of literacy, doors of opportunity are opened for them that would not be available otherwise, and she wants to help open as many doors for students as possible!
