Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala
The name of our section, Ayala, is derived from one of the biggest corporations in the Philippines, Ayala Corporation is led by Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, who serves as its chairman and CEO.
Ayala Corporation has diverse holdings in real estate, banking, telecommunications, water, industrial technology, power, infrastructure, healthcare, and education. Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala is actively involved in commercial and civic associations, including the International Advisory Council of Mitsubishi Corporation and the JP Morgan International Council.
He also chairs various prestigious advisory councils in the Philippines, such as the Harvard Global Advisory Council and the University of Tokyo Global Advisory Board. From 2010 to 2015, Jaime represented the Philippines on the Business Advisory Council of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Being named Ayala as our section, we have four important values that align with the principles of Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala. These values are innovation, discipline, respect, and excellence. We believe in coming up with new and creative ideas when we learn. We understand the importance of staying focused and working hard to achieve our educational goals. We treat our classmates and teachers with kindness and consideration. Lastly, we strive for excellence in everything we do, aiming to be the best we can be in our studies and personal growth.
Out of the 43 students in Ayala, an impressive 26 received honor certificates for our outstanding academic performance. Additionally, 27 students achieved perfect attendance, demonstrating our commendable discipline in attending school regularly. This accomplishment is a testament to our hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all the honored students and those with perfect attendance for their exceptional achievements!
All Ayala's students were able to participate in this performance, showcasing the steps of modern dance. Their dedication and hard work paid off, as they demonstrated exceptional talent and skill on stage. The efforts put forth by these students were reflected in their grades, with some achieving outstanding scores as high as 98. This remarkable accomplishment not only brings pride to the students but also serves as a testament to their commitment to excellence in physical education.
Despite the shaking caused by an earthquake that was felt in our area, our unity in knowing exactly what to do created a strong bond among us. This event showcased the resilience of Ayala students, as we faced adversity with courage and determination. Instead of succumbing to fear, we stood strong and supported one another. This experience serves as a reminder that we, the students of Ayala, possess the strength and resilience to overcome any challenges that come our way.
