Players are encouraged to play as realistic as possible when playing User vs. User games. For example, players who run cheesy plays or Quarters Run Commit Defense the whole game will be considered to get kicked. Some rules to follow to keep the games realistic.
Rules within User vs. User Games
If a User breaks these rules in a User vs. User game and either side notifies the commissioner, you will receive a first warning. If that User breaks a second rule within that game, they will forfeit a possession. If the user continues to break the rules in the game, that User will forfeit and the game will play on with the other user vs. the CPU:
Kickoffs
4th Down Situations
Recreating 'Realistic' Football | Sportsmanship | Coaching | Glitching
Please do not run Quarters Run Commit Defense all game or other glitchy Nano type defenses. That is not what we are trying to do here. If you continually run commit at inappropriate down and distance situations, you will receive a warning, and may be subject to going on Autopilot AP in a future game.
Run Commit inside the 10 yard line is acceptable. Run Commit in 3rd Down and less than 2 yards or 4th Down and less than 2 yards is acceptable; however, if that is how you play, expect to get burned sooner rather than later.
At the 3* and 77 rated team level and below, a lot of players will more often need to develop a run game to move the ball. Using Run Commit on 1st and 10 yards or 2nd and 6 or 8 yards to keep a running team off schedule is not acceptable play. Try to play straight up Defense and get your opponent into a punting situation.
Conversely, running hurry up money pass plays is not realistic either. Play straight up.
Don't be 'that' guy. If you rely on Nano Blitzes or Run Commit or Up-tempo Hurry up all the time, this dynasty is probably not for you and we will have that 'talk' and maybe have to move you out if it continues.
Some guys are pretty skilled and unbeatable. That is fine - Well deserved. Glitching is a pain and we want to not do that.
Please do not run up the score. Teams do not win 108 - 14. That is unrealistic. Padding stats and maximizing a big recruiting weekend is understood - to a degree. Do not continually run up the score. 56 - 10 or 63 - 14 or even 77 - 21 makes sense for the most part. 108 - 10 does not. If it happens a lot, we will have the 'talk' and you may find yourself on AP to slow your roll a bit.
Injuries
The substitutions and Injury settings are not what you would normally expect. The settings are there to rotate your players in and out. Don't run up tempo hurry up with your mobile QB or stud HB over and over, or you will find them being injured by the CPU and out for the game, or a few weeks or out for the season. This is especially the case if you like to CPU or super sim on CPU games. Play straight up.
Restarts
1.) CPU Game Restarts: If a user has a restart, please let the commissioner know and send me a picture of the lost connection or technical issue. The EA servers sometimes do freeze, or games will not save upon completion, and you may need to replay to avoid an Autopilot AP Advance. Use your judgment - Don't restart just to run up your stats. No one wins games 100 - 14 every week.
2.) Preventing User vs. User In-Game Restarts | Playbook and File Maintenance:
3.) User vs. User In-Game Restarts: We all know the game can freeze, especially during User vs. User games due to poor internet connections or corrupt playbooks and audibles. In order to reduce the frequency of in-game restarts, please make sure before you play that each user you follow the tips in 3.) below:
4.) New teams | End of Season
If you do not like the team you have, please do not quit and try to rejoin. It will corrupt the Dynasty Game file and future players, including yourself, will not be able to receive Coaching XP Points. If you want a new team, play through the current season and we will try to get the coaching carousel working to get you reassigned.
5.) Complaints | Requests to delay an advance due to family or work
Please do not air complaints to the general forum. Please message me directly at my email or on XBOX messenger or on my mobile.
Also, we all have commitments to work and family. If the pace of advance is too quick, some guys or gals may not be able to keep up and will miss a week or key game and lose interest. Let's come up with a balance as to when and how often we advance. This will ensure good recruiting, and sufficient time to play User vs. User games or CPU games so you don't get an unexpected 'L' because you were at a kids sporting or school event, or had to travel for work that week. Just give me a heads up so we can manage expectations for the other Players.
Good luck and Good hunting,
