Io is the mother of Till.[1] 

Io is a provider, which means that she has children and raises them for the segyein.[1]

Her son was born on June 21st.[2] When "the product" showed that he was a naturally talented singer, Io was worried that he would be taken away to compete in Alien Stage, but the sound was so lovely that she couldn't find the will to stop him. Eventually, Io's fears came true when she and her son were tearfully separated.[1]
