Mizi (미지) is one of the first two contestants to appear in Round 1, where she performed a duet with Sua, "MY CLEMATIS". In Round 5, she was pitted against Luka, this time performing "Ruler Of My Heart". 

In a now-deleted tweet, VIVINOS mentioned that Mizi was the most outgoing participant and always carried a positive attitude. However, it has been noted that she finds it difficult to hide her true emotions and struggles with being dishonest. This is apparent in the final scene of "MY CLEMATIS", where she visibly expresses her distress after witnessing Sua's death.

Additionally, it is implied that Mizi was raised in a favorable environment, which may have contributed to her initial obliviousness towards the darker aspects of the world around her

Mizi is a young adult with fair skin and long pink hair that gradually transitions into a more cornflower blue hue. Her eyes are golden-hazel or chartreuse in color, and she wears glasses when she is outside of the competition. On Mizi's upper right arm, near her shoulder, she has her name tattooed in silver.

In the first round, Mizi wore a short black dress with an halter bust, blue gem, and a belt accentuating her waist. The look was paired with thigh high boots in a similar shade and mismatched gloves, one of which was shorter than the other.

Mizi then went on to wear attire reminiscent of Luka's selection for Round 5. She donned a white and light violet floor-length gown with a high neck and long sleeves that reached her wrists. Her hair was pinned back with a white bow and and a violet piece of jewelry adorned her forehead.

During "All-in", her hair is cut short during a fight while trying to save Hyuna. She's also seen wearing a black turtleneck paired with a green, sleeveless puffer jacket and blue jeans.

Past

Mizi attended ANAKT GARDEN like the other children, but felt lonely, struggling to make friends. During one recital, as she zoned out, Mizi overheard Sua singing the chorus of what would become "MY CLEMATIS". The melody brought her peace though she was too nervous to speak to Sua.[citation needed]

For a whole month, Mizi listened quietly from afar. Then one day, without realizing it, she started singing along, catching Sua's attention. From that moment on, the two became close, spending time practicing songs together.

Alien Stage Events

In the first round, Mizi and Sua were placed against each other. They sang "MY CLEMATIS" together, with Mizi winning 87 to 86 and causing Sua's demise. Their performance became part of the Top 10 on the music charts, gathering 100 million views on the Radar platform within a week.[1] Traumatized from having to defeat Sua, Mizi moves on to Round 5 against Luka.

During Round 5, Mizi finds herself overwhelmed facing Luka who quickly captures the audience's attention. Luka begins taunting Mizi about Sua's death, triggering flashbacks and hallucinations that leave Mizi disoriented and overwhelmed. In a daze, she pins Luka to the ground and chokes him, hitting him repeatedly and leaving lesions on his body.

Red lights are alarmed as the contestant turned deviant, much like the events of Round 2 during Till's performance. The guards of Alien Stage come in to apprehend Mizi but she protests aggressively, ripping parts of her attire during the struggle. However, unable to overpower the guards, she is dragged and pinned to the ground with a gun to her head, moments away from being eliminated by the guards because of her loss in the round and of her actions towards her opponent. As soon as a guard goes to pull the trigger, a smokescreen appears. Later, Hyuna and another person carries Mizi's limp body out of Alien Stage. Though Luka moves on to the next round, Mizi is labelled as missing.

MIZISUA shares the journey of Mizi and Sua as children as they are being sent to ANAKT GARDEN. Although she was excited for the trip at first, when night fell, Mizi, presumably scared of what's to come, cries under the blanket gifted to her by her guardian, Shine. When she looks up from her tears, she sees the back of Sua, her compartment empty of items. Intrigued, she places her face to the glass, catching Sua's attention. Jellyfish tendrils erupt from Mizi's blanket and pierce the glass barrier separating them.

As they approach ANAKT GARDEN, they must head their separate ways. Mizi is distraught and tries to reach Sua but is unable to because of the barrier. She cries as they drift farther apart, eventually waving goodbye to Sua, who reciprocates with a hesitant wave. This all appears to be a dream, as Mizi is then seen laying in bed wearing what remains of her Round 5 attire, tears falling.

In "All-in", Mizi started out having a little trouble with adjusting to the life of the rebellion. She tags along with Hyuna as the rebellion leader goes back to Alien Stage, experiencing all kinds of explosions and fighting on the way there. During an instance where Hyuna is distracted by an advertisement of Luka and soon captured by the alien guards, Mizi gets behind the guards surrounding the woman and pushes them aside to free her.

Mizi just narrowly dodges being shot at and manages to only graze her cheek, though the movement resulted in her hair being cut short. She is able to take hold of the weapon and starts firing upon the guards, albeit not as smoothly as Hyuna or the other rebels. As Mizi calls for the elevator to lead the two to their escape, Hyuna starts to shoot the guards. Leaving the fighting to Hyuna, Mizi takes the reigns to drive a hoverscooter to Alien Stage, where Round 6 is about to commence.

At the end of Round 6, Mizi can be seen huddling in a corridor with Hyuna, who was presumably injured in their attempt to infiltrate Alien Stage. She looks down at Hyuna’s injury with deep concern and distress.

During Round 7, Mizi sees Till competing on a monitor screen in a control room. Her eyes widen as she implicitly realizes Ivan is dead. She attempts to go rescue Till but is stopped by Hyuna. Mizi looks down at her with a grave but determined expression before shaking her off and running to the stage.

Mizi activates a smoke grenade (which appears to be a lower level alien) and uses it as a cover to sneak past a guard stationed at the entrance to the audience area. After entering the audience, she makes eye contact with Till, beaming with joy as she stretches out her hand for Till to take, only to watch in shock as he is shot in front of her after losing to Luka.

She appears in a flashback with Till as children, hiding from a security robot because they entered an unknown area. Mizi smiles up at him after the security robot leaves before it transitions back to the present with her cradling him and looking down at his body while tears fall down her face.

Although the episode, "Wiege", doesn't focus heavily on Mizi, it shows how troubled Mizi had become after being rescued from Alien Stage by the human rebellion group, as she is shown arguing with Hyuna about something and crying out of grief or frustration.

Flashbacks of her time as a student in ANAKT GARDEN reveals her time spent hanging out with Sua, Till, and Ivan. She can be seen trying on performance outfits with Sua in a changing room, presumably to prepare for Alien Stage in the future. The four are shown together in a small group of other ANAKT GARDEN students practicing the song "Wiege".

In a world where the segyein didn't take over, Mizi would have lived a normal life as she is shown wearing a cat-ear headband and star makeup while smiling up at something. However, the video soon cuts back to her actual childhood in ANAKT GARDEN, where Mizi can be seen crying over robot fish in ANAKT GARDEN and cleaning the teeth of ANAKT GARDEN's wagyein guard with her friends.

Following the events of the final round, Mizi is filled with grief as she continues to hold Till's body in her lap, his death reminding her of Sua. Mizi attempts to compose herself through deep breaths but is evidently distressed as her face darkens and she continues to cry.
