Green Screening is SO much fun! Personalize videos by creating your own transparent images for the top layer of your green screen products!

Exactly how do your create great images on a Chromebook and get them to your Doink app on the iPad??

1. Go to your Google Drive

2. Go to :

File>New>More>Google Drawings


You should now have two tabs open: Google Drive and Google Drawing!


3. In your Google Drawing:

  • Add the title
  • Insert Word Art
  • Type your text
  • Change text color with the color bucket
  • AVOID GREEN PICTURES OR WORDS!!


4. Now "change" your creation to a .png!

Go to: File>Download >png

Now you have the image created, but it is downloaded to your Chromebook.

You MUST upload this png to your Google Drive from your Chromebook before you log out!!!

5. Go to your Google Drive tab:

New>File Upload>File

Select your png from the pop-up window

Click "Open"

The file will upload into your Google Drive!

Yay!! Your image is safely stored in your Google Drive!

Access through the Doink app, or follow these steps to save to the iPad:

6. On the iPad:

  • Log into Google Drive on your iPad
  • Go to "Recent"
  • Find and tap on the png image you just created
  • Touch and hold to save to camera roll


Congratulations! Now your image can be used in the top layers of your green screen project!!
