This group is perfect for you if...
~ You are committed to helping others but are stretched for time - no in person meetings to attend!
~ You want to be part of a powerful group of local individuals and businesses making an immediate, direct, and positive effect on the lives of our community members in need.
~ You want to learn more about the amazing local charities, both small and large, who serve the beautiful communities of Brant County, Brantford and Six Nations of the Grand River.
You will be joining other caring individuals of all ages, from Brantford, Burford, Harley, Mt. Pleasant, Paris, Princeton, and St. George and all points in between. We even have members who live outside our catchment area in Ancaster, Drumbo, Simcoe and Woodstock, who feel connected to making life better in our community.

Then, scroll through the Agreement below for details about membership, nominating, voting, donating.
The synopsis:
(note that details in Agreement will supercede this synopsis)
choose a financial commitment beginning as low as $25 per cycle, three cycles per year
membership gives you the right to nominate one charity in each giving cycle (criteria: charity must be registered and able to issue tax receipts; funds must serve local residents; specific need must be immediate; donations may not be used for administrative purposes; focus is on needs of people; previous recipients are not eligible for re-nomination for a period of three years)
from all nominations, three are chosen at random to present their needs via a short submitted video for you to view when it fits into your schedule. In the video, they will outline the specific need to be addressed with our donations
you will be provided with a link to a ballot where you will select the charity that you would like to see receive our donations
at the end of the voting period, the charity with the most votes is awarded all members' donations for the cycle
you will be provided with a link to a dedicated CanadaHelps fundraiser which has been set up specifically for our group's donations to the selected charity; you will also be provided with an address where you can mail a donation made by cheque
after the donation period ends, we will announce the total amount of collective donations from our giving circle to the selected charity
in a few weeks, the recipient will share with us how our donations were used - usually with photos and stories
an annual press release will be circulated to local media outlining our giving circle's annual activities and total donations in each of the three giving cycles
