100 Libri d’Autore – First Cultural Project
Last revision: 20 August 2026
The project extends participation to an international level and includes a dedicated section for institutions, cultural organizations, blogs, and related entities interested in collaborating and promoting artistic and literary initiatives.
The regulation must be taken into account, but with the clarification that the international section is managed through different procedures. International authors will be selected according to specific methods, independent from those used for the Italian section. You may still refer to the page’s messaging system to receive any information or guidance you may need.
To access the evaluation phase, participants are required to support the project through one of the following options:
Invitation of Facebook friends: Invite all your friends to follow the project’s page and, if you have more than 1,000 contacts (the maximum daily limit allowed by Facebook, selectable in a single operation), invite the remaining ones in the following days. https://www.facebook.com/100libridautore
Do not contact the project coordinators via messages sent to their personal profiles; all communication must take place exclusively through the messaging system of the “100 Libri d’Autore” page.
2. Additional Invitations on the Authors’ Pages
(Optional or useful for those with fewer friends)
• Gioia Lomasti – https://www.facebook.com/gioialomastifanpage
• Emanuele Marcuccio – https://www.facebook.com/emautore74
Once the invitations are completed, send confirmation together with all required materials, in a single message, to: https://www.facebook.com/100libridautore
3. Optional but important solidarity purchase
Participants may support the project by purchasing one of the two selected titles:
– Il verso che tace
– Lo stupore e la meraviglia
(Youcanprint, paperback edition – available on major platforms and in bookstores)
A screenshot of the order is sufficient. All proceeds will be entirely allocated to cultural and charitable initiatives promoted by the authors. The works are also available internationally and can be ordered via Amazon.
Invitations or book purchases do not influence the final selection. Evaluation is based exclusively on the submitted materials: cover, synopsis, quality of the work, biography, and type of publication.
✦ Submission of Cultural Material
After completing the required steps , authors may submit the information related to one of their recent publications, preferably one that has already been reviewed online.
Required material:
• front cover image in good resolution — only the front cover, provided as a single JPEG file, not inserted in a Word or PDF document; the same applies to written material, which must not be in PDF but exclusively in a text file
• description of the work (the one published on the purchase channel)
• short biography
• type of work (poetry, novel, narrative, essay, etc.)
Materials must be sent exclusively via message to the official page:
https://www.facebook.com/100libridautore
✦ Selection and Communication
Authors will be contacted only if selected. The volume does not constitute a publishing release but a digital cultural file, included in a dedicated channel and freely downloadable via a link provided upon completion. Some selected authors may be invited to interviews, features, and cultural initiatives shared on social media.
✦ Project Duration and Criteria
The project will remain active from June 2026 until the participation of all 100 selected authors is reached.. Works submitted afterward will not be considered for future initiatives. Selected works will be sent to each author for confirmation. If no response is received, the work will not be included in the volume. Late modifications to biographies or descriptions will not be accepted. Requests made after submission will result in removal of the work during the insertion phase.
Submitted texts may undergo non‑invasive revisions, including omissions or adjustments deemed necessary by the curators. Interventions will be minimal and carried out with full respect for the original work.
Materials lacking any of the following will be excluded:
• cover
• type of work
• synopsis
• short biography
Biographies must be concise and free of links, editorial references, prices, or commercial details, as such information is already available online.
Once the project is completed, messaging on the page will be disabled. After the final file is created, no removal or modification of the contents of 100 Libri d’Autore – Vol. 1 (PDF format) will be possible. Participation implies full acceptance of the regulation, with no claims of any kind, in respect of all participants.
✦ Participation of External Cultural Projects
Cultural projects, websites, blogs, and radio stations promoting culture and art may join by contacting the official page. Participation recommends the purchase of one of the two proposed books; should these titles have already been purchased, it is possible to agree with the curators on the purchase of other volumes intended to support culture and solidarity. A dedicated section will be created, listing only the names of participating projects, without links or personal references. These entries, presented in an orderly and institutional manner, will help promote authors and cultural activities.
The project aims to foster national and international cultural exchange, promoting books intended for a broad audience. Works must be suitable for general readership, with respectful language and appropriate content. Participation is open to all authors, provided that international works are also available in Italian or English translation. Collections authored by multiple writers will not be accepted, not even if composed of only two authors.
What do you gain?
Promotion, visibility, and support for your books. We are authors ourselves, and we understand the value of sharing and mutual encouragement.
