Similar to the original Shard of Minium, these shards are used in various crafting recipes. The materials required for each shard vary in difficulty depending on their use. You will find that the Shard of Minium remains the core shard of the bunch.
The Inert Stone is an item required by the Minium Stone. This useless rock serves as the base of the recipe. The same could be said for the new Fervent Stone and Zenith Stone. These stones use a tier based crafting system where each one requires the other. Inert upgrades to Fervent, and Fervent upgrades to Zenith.
Like the Inert, Fervent, and Zenith stone; the Temporal Stone is also the base crafting material for some items. However, unlike the other stones, the Temporal Stone is re-usable. The stone will simply "fracture" when used in a recipe. It can be repaired and re-used. The Fractured Temporal Stone has a specific quality to it unlike its unfractured counterpart which allows it to reverse time rather than accelerate it. If the fractured stone is used it will be consumed, it is not re-usable.
In the same vein as the EE2 Covalence Dust, Covalence Stone is used to repair specific items. It is also used to create the Inert, Fervent, and Zenith Stones. It can repair a Fractured Temporal Stone, Minium Stone, Philosopher's Stone, and Aeternalis Igniter.
The Shard of Minium has a chance to drop off hostile mobs when killed by a player. At times small fragments of these shards will drop from mobs as well. These fragments are too fragile to pick up normally, but can be picked up using items Hopper, Item Collector, or Luggage.
From left to right: Tatsuryl, Ryotite, and Kamium Crystals are end game materials used to create various items. Tatsuryl is obtained by using an Ender Dragon Egg, Ryotite uses an Ender Demon Relic, and Kamium is Tatsuryl and Ryotite combined.
These fuels are often required for several items. A lot of recipes are modified to incorporate them. They also serve as an improved fuel source and can be crafted into blocks. You make these by using coal and Shards of Minium or by using an Aeternalis Igniter.
These late game materials are Dark Matter, the Legerdemain Core, Corporeality Orb, and Dismantled Ender Relic. The Ender Relic is an item from Hardcore Ender Expansion which drops off the Ender Demon. This Ender Demon is spawned by creating its spawn egg by using a Corporeality Orb. The relic is dismantled and then used to create a Ryotite Crystal.
A mid game transmutation stone. It is the usual Minium Stone you may be familiar with. Capable of performing transmutations such as turning iron into gold or wood into obsidian. The EE3 addon "Equivalency" is included which adds more transmutation recipes. This stone only has 256 uses but can be repaired using Covalence Stone.
A more powerful transmutation stone, having 10 million uses. The recipe is more difficult but certainly worth it for the upgrade.
A tome which can perform a different form of transmutation. One interesting aspect is that this tome is able to create a Dragon Egg. This tome has infinite uses.
A way to get alchemical fuel without shelling out countless Shards of Minium. It has 200k uses and can be used to create bolts of lightning. To create the lighter 576 Shards of Minium are needed. This initial investment is certainly worth it considering the durability of the item. It is crafted using a Blood Magic Alchemical Chemistry Set (Tier 3).
There is a certain order of creating these items that is favorable in conserving the Dragon Egg Dust one gets from their first Dragon Egg. It is advised to use your first batch of Dragon Egg Dust to create a Tome of Alkahest. This allows the creation of more Dragon Eggs and removes the constraint of needing to manage Dragon Egg Dust.
*The yield of dust from the egg is an odd number in the event one uses up all of their dust. There is a quite expensive mimicry recipe to try and correct the error.
The Hyper Apple provides a massive speed boost in all regards. Increasing mining, running, and flying speed.
An incredibly powerful consumable. This is an alchemically infused Enchanted Golden Apple. Giving several strong buffs.
The Arid Cookie is so mystically dry that it makes any weather condition return to clear skies.
The Damp Cookie is so mystically sopping wet that it induces rain and snow.
The Creeper Chop gives a brief boost of strength and resistance to fire.

By ripping the fingers off a Witch's Hand you get these tasty snacks. They provide a small amount of health regeneration.
There are a few miscellaneous foods including Apple Pie, Roasted Mushrooms, and Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. The mushrooms and seeds are consumed at a faster rate.
This block allows you to use power to repair most weapons, tools, and armor.
A Thermal Expansion equivalent of the IC2 Nano and Quantum armor.
You can change biomes to your liking using this wand. Capturing the biome you're in and replacing any other biome with the captured one.
These helmets are an homage to the game Team Fortress 2.
The Bluoculus gives water breathing.
Blocks of existing materials have been added.
From left to right it's Blaze, Salt, and Minium.
More Extra Utilities compressed blocks were added. This includes the all new Compressed Netherrack, and further compressions of Sand and Gravel.
This Color Remover allows you to remove the color from many colored items to return it to its default variant. It also works on player heads, giving you a default Steve head.
The Ender Storage mod was changed slightly to now be known as Dimensional Storage. (Dimensional Chest, Dimensional Tank, etc...)
It has also been integrated with the Ender Tanks mod.
These are similar to Life Crystals from Terraria. Heart Crystals can be found inside caves. They provide an extra heart to the player. This heart is lost on death, but can be regained by consuming the dropped crystal.
Bedrock Breakers allow you to break Bedrock into small chunks that can be used for crafting or building.
The Alchemical Chest is a massive storage block. Giving the equivalent of 5 Diamond Chests in storage space.
Soul Shards are able to be reset using Salt. You get Salt by mining its ore in the Nether.
These rings are similar to the EE2 rings, except instead of consuming EMC they consume Redstone and Glowstone as fuel.
The Bedrock Chunks obtained using the Bedrock Breaker are incorporated for the recipe.
The Warp Book enables a new method of travel using Warp Pages. Each page is linked to a coordinate and they can all be browsed and teleported to using the book. World Thread is used for the page recipe.
Previously, World Thread was obtained from chests in dimensional dungeons. This has been disabled and a more consistent method of crafting it has been added.
By mixing Biomes O' Plenty Promised Land Cloud Blocks with various other materials you can create a bottle containing the clouds of a storm. This modifies the Cloud Block to become a Thundering Cloud Block.
There are too many small changes and additions to list them. The only way to see them all is to play the modpack.
