As the sun rises over the Sahyadri range, volunteers will gather at the base of Tikona Fort for check-in. The energy begins with a traditional Tilak welcome and electrifying Dhol-Tasha entry, setting a powerful tone for the day ahead. Each participant will receive a welcome kit including a badge, gloves, water bottle, and other essentials.
Following a short briefing about the day's plan and safety, volunteers will begin the initial trek to Base One, bonding with fellow change-makers along the trail.

Group briefing and trek begins to Base One
At Base One, the official kickoff of the Fort Edition will take place. Mr. Tanveer Inamdar, Founder and Executive Director of TREEI Foundation, will deliver the opening address, introducing the vision and goals of Mission Urja – Fort Edition.
Volunteers will be briefed on the significance of this solar initiative, its link to heritage conservation, and how they’ll contribute throughout the day. Soon after, the group continues onward for the second leg of the trek.

Trek to Base Two begins
At this midpoint, influential trekking leaders (male and female) will share their stories and motivation, inspiring volunteers to reflect on their purpose for joining the mission. This space will open for brief volunteer interactions—a moment to hear why each person showed up.
The highlight here is the Torch Lighting Ceremony, a symbolic tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, followed by a rally filled with Maratha war cries like “Jai Bhavani! Jai Shivaji!” echoing through the fort’s valley. With torches lit, the rally advances to Base Three.

Trek continues to Base Three
🛕 9:45 AM: Base Three (Tikona Fort Peak)
Reaching the summit, volunteers will gather for the culmination of the Torch Ceremony. Before diving into cultural performances, everyone will participate in a sacred Shiv Pooja at the 8th-century Shiv Mandir, paying homage to the fort’s spiritual and historical roots.
This will be followed by a vibrant showcase of Maharashtra’s rich traditions, featuring Powada singing, Lezim dance, and Dhol-Tasha beats. Volunteers will receive personal shoutouts, and selected participants will be interviewed for documentation and social media.
The session concludes with a historical storytelling segment led by a local historian/trekker, followed by gratitude messages from CSR partners and dignitaries.

Volunteers will be split into focused teams for hands-on impact work at and around the fort:
Activity Zones:
🧹 Fort Cleaning: Collecting plastic waste and debris
🌱 TREEI Plantation Drive: 1,000 native trees planted (shade & fruit-bearing)
🔌 Solar Marking Mission: Placement mapping and marking for solar light, CCTV, and charging units
📢 Awareness & Research Booths: Creating educational material and gathering insights
Volunteers will regroup at Base One for a heartfelt closing. E-certificates with QR codes will be distributed as a token of appreciation. CSR partners or local dignitaries will offer thank-you speeches, and a group photo with the majestic Tikona Fort as the backdrop will capture the moment.
