Environmental (ECO) Club

Environmental (Eco)-Club ♻️

At the start of the year, Eco Club will determine what our goals are for the club and decide what actionable steps we can take to be better stewards to the planet. We will work in partnership with the Verona Community Garden, plant fall vegetables for us to snack on as well as donate to a food pantry. We will go on nature walks to foster ecology-minded habits among our classmates, research the benefits of composting, and develop solutions to waste we see in our school community. We will be taking ideas from our members for school wide activities and projects!

The Eco-club will meet twice a month in Mrs. Domenick's room: 201. You can access the club by joining our google classroom page if you have any questions. You can join this club and others that meet on the same day since we will meet twice a month.

Advisor: Ms. Domenick 

Club Meeting Days/Times: Twice a month (Mostly Wednesdays), 3:05 pm - 3:30 - 4pm (depending on activity) Room 201. On days we go to off site to Verona Park we will be longer, but I will advise the students 2 weeks prior, and make updates in the Eco Club Google Classroom.

Club Meetings will be held:  First meeting is 10/8 (Wednesdays).   The other dates will be posted soon.
