Students can participate in these offerings:
In-person credit recovery and initial credit for high school including, including Drivers Education, College & Career, Health and Career Technical Education courses will be offered at BHS and VHS. An AM session will take place 8:30am to 12pm and a PM session will take place 12:30-4pm. In-person credit recovery for current 12th graders who need special education English Language Arts or Math to graduate (program will run July 6-August 13) will be offered as well.
Online credit recovery for high school students (including current seniors) via Edgenuity We will now offer online options for credit recovery during July at VHS & BHS from 8:30am-12pm for the AM session and 12:30-4pm for the PM. Students MUST be present for the prescriptive (1st day of session, July 6th) and final tests (when finished with the course, students can select a date during the session). Students MAY work in person or from home besides those exams. If you would like to take the online option in July, please sign up on the updated form (CLICK HERE) July enrollment form. Online Initial Credit Health and College & Career Being Offered
This summer, we will be offering initial credit Health and/or College & Career for our incoming freshmen in an ONLINE ONLY format. This is in addition to the in-person options already on the July Session Course Request Form. Buena and Ventura students who opt to take these courses in summer offerings need to take both classes (Health and College & Career). Foothill Technology students only should take Health (those taking music should work with their FTHS counselor for guidance).
During the July Session, we have added both Health and College & Career as online options. If you would like to take the online option in July for either or both courses, please sign up on the updated form (CLICK HERE). These offerings allow students who want to take one class at a time to do that over seven weeks (Health in June, College & Career in July) while also allowing students who prefer to work on both classes at once to complete them during the same 4-week session in July.
