Tutoring Program

Need help in a class?

Come to the media center for the free tutoring program. A few teachers and student tutors will be available to help students with homework or a particular concept on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 2-3:45pm. Students who aren't in need of help, but need a quiet place to study or complete homework are welcome as well during any open hours.

A Math Teacher that can help with all levels of math will be available 2:30-3:30pm on the following days:

• Tuesday-Mr. Villano

• Wednesday-Mr. Powers

• Thursday-Mrs. Frumkin

Volunteers Needed

Juniors and Seniors can volunteer to tutor in for our after school program to earn community service hours. Please check out the schedule to see if there is a time your you volunteer. We are particularly seeking students with a 3.5 GPA or above that are strong in areas of math and/or science. If you are available and willing, please email Ms. Fergus (dianne.fergus@venturausd.org) to sign-up to volunteer.
