Concert Dates for 2025-2026:

Friday, March 6th, 2026, from 6-8:30 pm - All-District Combined Choir Concert in the McConnell Auditorium

All of the VUSD choirs will come together for a combined concert!

Friday, March 13th, 2026 - SCVA Choir Festival at Santa Paula High School, from 6:30-8:30 pm

Students will participate in an adjudicated festival.

Friday, May 22nd, 2026, from 6-9 pm - Vocal & Jazz Showcase in the McConnell Auditorium

The Balboa Choir, the Buena Choir, and the Buena Jazz Ensemble will be showcasing their talent and hard work at our end-of-year concert on Friday, May 22nd at 6 pm! In between each ensemble, students will be performing various songs of their choosing, so you won’t want to miss out! Admission is free, so come on out to support the arts and enjoy some amazingly talented musicians!

Friday, December 12th, 2025, from 5:30-9 pm - Not-So-Silent Night Concert in the McConnell Auditorium.

All of our concert music classes will be performing throughout the evening, with a half-hour intermission at 7 pm. Between each ensemble, we will have solo performances by the students who have recorded songs for our upcoming album, Not-So-Silent Night, Vol. 9, coming soon to all streaming platforms. This year’s album will eventually be available to purchase for $20 and to stream on all major streaming platforms! In the meantime, feel free to stream our first 8 albums by searching for “The Buena High School Choir!”

Feel free to come and go as you please (no need to stay all night long), and help yourself to some breakfast burritos from Corrales and pancakes from Sweet Stacks! Both vendors will donate 20% of their sales to the Buena Music Association.

Admission is free, though we are asking for a suggested donation of $5-10.
