What do school counselors do?

We provide guidance and counseling services to help students navigate the challenges of adolescence. Our service includes academic planning, helping students choose appropriate courses, and developing educational goals. We also offer guidance on personal and social issues, addressing peer relationships, bullying, and emotional well-being. We aim to collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Our goal as Anacapa counselors is to educate and foster good human beings.

Students are also welcome to fill out a call slip if they wish to see their counselor for any reason. Counselors will call student at their earliest convenience.
