To preserve the safety and homologation of our helmets, strict rules apply.
Here is the design brief outlining the permitted modifications:
1. The Untouchables (Safety & Homologation)
The overall volume and shape of the helmet cannot be altered.
The materials of the chinstraps must remain intact.
The fastening systems (Double-D ring for motorcycle helmets and Fidlock for cycling/ski helmets) cannot be changed.
2. Shells & Chin Guards
Permitted: Exposed carbon fiber, all types of paint, and surface treatments (solid colors, metallics, metal flakes, gold/silver leaf, matte/satin/gloss clear coats). Wrapping/upholstery in leather or fine fabrics, provided they are securely glued.
Prohibited: Wrapping with thick materials (e.g., fur) that could create friction and hinder the helmet's ability to slide in the event of a crash.
3. Trims & Interiors (Liners)
Trims (Beading): Black, white, or brown rubber, calfskin, or any flexible material capable of following the edge contour.
Interior (Non-skin contact): Textiles and fine leathers (lambskin). Leather thickness must not exceed 0.6 mm.
Interior (Skin contact): Strictly Coolmax material.
4. Hardware & Metal Parts
Made of titanium. These can be decorated using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) surface treatments.
5. Visors & Accessories
Permitted visors: Clear, light smoke, yellow, dark smoke, chrome, blue chrome.
Customization with decals/stickers is permitted (motorsport style).
The visor can be replaced with ski/motorcycle goggles or glasses. A painted or leather peak/visor cap can be added (for motorcycle helmets).
The expected deliverable is a PDF presentation deck (A4 format, 6 pages), which must be structured exactly as follows:
Page 1 | Statement of Intent: A presentation text explaining your creative concept, your inspirations, and the story behind your design.
Page 2 | 3/4 View: Your design applied to the helmet.
Page 3 | Side View: Lateral application.
Page 4 | Front View: Frontal application.
Page 5 | Rear View: Back application.
Page 6 | Technical Spec Sheet: The detailed bill of materials for your project (list of materials, paint/color references, and planned ornamentation techniques).
The templates corresponding to the required viewing angles (pages 2 to 5) are available in the shared folder "Images Casques" (Helmet Images). The 3D helmet files are available in the "Fichiers 3D" (3D Files) folder, and the brand logos and mandatory regulatory markings are available in the "Logos et marquages" (Logos and Markings) folder.
To support and enhance your project, you may submit additional files (3D files, videos, extra renders). These large files must be shared via a public download link (WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc.) provided directly within the submission form.
