AP Exam Update . . . Current news as of 5/7/2020

Lots of new information today! Please read through all of this info carefully and keep it handy to refer back to!

First off, the payment portal is now open, found here:

If your family receives a discounted or free student lunch, your fee for each exam is $34, with the regular fee of $94. The payment portal will only let you pay the $34 reduced fee if you qualify for such.

Upcoming - Read Below Please!

Two days before your exam(s), you will receive an email with your unique exam e-ticket that includes your AP ID. On exam day, you will use your e-ticket to access the exam. If you haven't received your exam e-ticket by email, you can access it through your student account on My AP. E-tickets are non-transferable and shouldn't be shared with anyone. If you haven't been receiving College Board emails you still have time to confirm your contact information.

You should complete this checklist and keep a printed or handwritten copy with you for reference during testing. Completing the checklist will help you feel ready to take on the exam challenge. You've got this!

  • Uh Oh! Disaster! My system crashed! What now?

If you accidentally close your browser, your device crashes, or you temporarily lose internet access, you can quickly click your exam e-ticket again to return to the exam. You should continue your exam, and if you feel at the end of the exam that the temporary disruption negatively impacted your performance, you can request approval to take the makeup exam at cb.org/requestmakeup. You can also request a makeup exam if you've lost too much time due to a technical problem, can't connect to your exam, or experience some other serious disruption.

  • AP Exams will be offered for students to take remotely. Each exam will be 45 minutes.

  • Additional test information will be released on April 3rd.

  • Digital portfolio submission deadlines have been extended to May 26th at 11:59pm EST.

  • Only units covered until early March will be covered on the exam.
