TinkerCAD is a web-based 3D design software that is user-friendly, making it suitable for students of all ages. It provides a simple interface for creating 3D models, which can be exported for laser cutting.  It is also able to be used on multiple devices making it ideal for a classroom setting.

The Xtool D1 laser cutter is a safe and efficient tool for cutting cardboard with precision. It is suitable for use in educational environments and can be controlled via computer software.  I do want to point out that we reference the XTool D1 because it is an excellent choice for classrooms and many Maine classrooms have the D1, however, nearly ANY laser cutter can be used.
