This is me!

I am an almost-native of the Sandhills...born in Minnesota, but raised in Valentine, NE.  My employment started in the early 1990s with babysitting, lawn-mowing, car-hopping at the Frosty, and helping in medical records at Cherry County Hospital!  Since then, I have been blessed to hold a variety of corporate and non-profit positions in St. Louis, MO; Eau Claire, WI; and Valentine, NE.  In my spare time, I have helped run my church's youth camp, directed an annual 20's/30's retreat, and counseled at several youth conferences.  I worked with the Valentine Area Arts Council as a member, director, then treasurer from 2012-2022.  In 2015, I started teaching at Keya Paha County Schools (KPCS) in Springview, NE and started the transitional teaching program (for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in their instructional area).  I taught at KP for four years before accepting a position at Valentine.  2024-2026 will be my sixth year teaching at VHS...go Badgers!
