INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES

Whether textbooks, library books, or digital educational applications, Vance County Schools is committed  to providing high-quality, grade-appropriate resources for all students.

Instructional resources are selected in alignment to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCoS) and the needs of the district's adopted curriculum. Use the subject area and grade level filters to explore the district-sponsored instructional resources that are available in VCS.

Don't see a resource that you would like to use in your classroom?

Submit a request for an instructional resource/software review process. To use any resource (paid or free)  that is not listed below with VCS students, it must undergo the instructional resource review process. The process includes a vetting committee which consists of members from the Curriculum & Instruction, Information Technology, Digital Learning and Innovation, and Federal Programs departments.

While any VCS staff member can request instructional software or resources, the request must first be approved by their building administrator or department supervisor.
