Class Rank & GPA
We are a ranking division for seniors only. Class rank is included on all senior transcripts.
Our class size for the Common App is 360.
We use a weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale.
If an unweighted GPA is required, remove AP weights from your current GPA. For details, check the Student Course Guide → Home → General Information → Grading Scale. Work with your school counselor if you have additional questions.
SAT/ACT
Some colleges require SAT/ACT scores, while others are test optional, meaning that a college does not require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores, allowing them to decide whether to send them.
To register and view test dates, click below.
Official scores must be sent directly from your SAT or ACT account to the college.
Early Action vs. Early Decision
Early Action (EA): Apply early and receive your admission decision (usually by January).
Early Decision (ED): A binding commitment to attend if accepted. You may apply ED to only ONE school.
Common App
Many colleges use Common App for applications.
When setting up your account:
Add your school counselor in the Recommenders and FERPA section.
Use your counselor’s full name email address to avoid delivery issues.
Counselor email addresses are listed on the School Counselors tab of this website.
Letters of Recommendation
If you need a letter of recommendation from your school counselor, please allow a minimum of two weeks before your application deadline. This gives your counselor enough time to write the letter and upload it to the required platform.
When making your request, please complete the Letter of Recommendation Questionnaire and give it to your school counselor. This form helps your counselor highlight your strengths, experiences, and goals in their letter.
