*NEW THESPIAN INDUCTION CEREMONIES

2023 - 2024: Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 6 pm in the OLHS Auditorium

STANDARD TIME-LINE FOR PLANNING

(the actual hours listed below are subject to change based on scheduling)

2 HOURS PRIOR TO CEREMONY:

4:00 pm, EB reports for set-up and run-through of ceremony

45 MINUTES PRIOR TO CEREMONY:

5:15 pm, Current Thespians (in good standing) arrive to assist

30 MINUTES PRIOR TO CEREMONY:

5:30 pm, New Inductees arrive 

15 MINUTES PRRIO TO CEREMONY:

5:45 pm, Parents / Guardians arrive

START:

6:00 pm, Ceremony begins, doors close

*Thespian Induction ceremonies are honor ceremonies, therefore appropriate attire is expected. Men should wear dress shoes, dress slacks, a nice button-up shirt, and a tie. Women should wear dress shoes (heels are okay, but no more than a few inches), dress slacks or skirt, blouse, dress with straps (may wear a dress with spaghetti straps as long as they wear a shawl or sweater over the shoulders). Black tennis shoes are acceptable as long as they are completely black. 

Any student wearing an outfit that is deemed inappropriate by one of the theatre company directors or in violation of the OLHS dress code will be asked to leave.
