WELCOME to The VBCPS
DTAL Summer Conference

8:00AM - 3:30PM

The intention of the conference is to EMPOWER Virginia Beach City Public School educators to incorporate innovative and aligned learning experiences into their teaching practices with a focus on Future Ready Learners.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the following session types: listen and learn, interactive workshop, poster, or STEAM Interactive stations. Please note that these sessions all run at different time lengths. We are excited to EMPOWER the Possibilities of Future Readiness!

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Conference Registration will take place through SCHED.

If you already have a SCHED account with your short vbcps email account, you can click on login with Google for access.
If you do not have a SCHED account, or are unsure, you will need to create an account in SCHED first, using your short vbcps email account first, and then you can login with Google moving forward.

All SCHED accounts MUST be created with your short vbcps email account. If you have an account using your long email address, please do not use this account. You will need to create a new one to register for this conference. Please reach out to your ITS if you have any questions.

Registering For SESSIONS

It is not necessary to register/login to SCHED to view the schedule, however if you choose to, please use your short email address.
Preview the sessions on SCHED and mark those that you plan to attend. Try the "Audience" filter on the right to limit by level.
Selecting sessions in SCHED will hold your seat for your selected session. 5 minutes before the session starts open seats may be filled with any attendees waiting for a seat.
