Our School Day
It is important that your child has a great start to the day so aim to get to school before the school bell goes at 8.55am, so that they can get unpacked and settled before the school bell goes. When they arrive they can put their school bag away and their book bag away. If they are feeling a little bit worried that you are leaving, you can read them a story before you go.
Here is our daily timetable and bell times :
8.30am: Classroom open
8.55 - 10.30: Block 1
10.30 - 10.50: Morning tea play
10.50 - 11.00: Morning tea eating (supervised)
11.00 -12.40: Block 2
12.40 - 1.20: Lunch
12.50 - 1.30: Lunch eating (supervised)
1.30 - 3.00: Block 3
When starting school, for the first two weeks, there is an earlier pick up time of 2pm to help children transition to the school routines.
