About Che’Maiah Francis: Che’Maiah Francis is a distinguished telecommunications technician associated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 26. Hailing from Ashburn, Virginia, Che’Maiah embarked on her professional journey after graduating from Stone Bridge High School in 2014. She continued her academic pursuit at James Madison University (JMU), earning a degree in Philosophy and Religion, with double minors in Public Policy and Administration, and Communications in 2019.

In August 2019, Che’Maiah commenced her tenure with IBEW as a cable puller. Her dedication and talent swiftly propelled her into the JATC telecommunications apprenticeship program, marking the inception of her transformative journey to becoming a technician. Over the course of her apprenticeship, Che’Maiah demonstrated exceptional proficiency, advancing through various roles including team lead, foreman, service truck driver, and AV technician. Her relentless pursuit of excellence culminated in her graduation from the apprenticeship program in June 2023.

Armed with the confidence instilled by her extensive career in the trades, Che’Maiah founded "Dirty Dames Demolition" to further broaden her expertise in residential projects. Her endeavor not only aims at personal growth but also seeks to inspire and empower women to embrace the trades, fostering inclusivity and diversity in traditionally male-dominated industries.
