This informative session provides the essential information and hands-on activities to confidently deliver the straight or curl reduction looks our guests with wavy, curly and coily hair demand!
Topics include: Texture Analysis, The Best Techniques, Most Effective Tools and Products to use for Success. Leave this class ready to offer your guests with a curl reduction or relaxer that will support this relaxer trend.

This session is for both new and seasoned instructors, there is always opportunity to flex your preparedness skills.

Jessica George proudly serves as the Milady Industry Relations Manager. She is a licensed cosmetologist, educator, and training specialist with over 15 years’ experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Her experience includes working behind the chair, brand educator, fashion and editorial stylist, platform artistry, education director, and curriculum development in both salons and schools. She is passionate about education and inspiring others to follow their dreams. She has found the beauty industry has been incredibly rewarding as it continues to evolve. Jessica enjoys nourishing her plant darlings, rocking the world of beauty education and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Toni Garcia-Jackson remembers vividly the day she fell in love with hairdressing. She was just 13,
having her own hair done in a trendy salon. As she sat in the chair, she watched with fascination as
seasoned hair stylists worked magic on their clients.
“There was a sense of freedom that I felt as I watched the hairstylists
work. I was instantly attracted to the hair art they were creating, ever
since that day I wanted to become a hair designer.”
Now a freelance artist, she has been working her own hair magic for over 25 years.
Toni specializes in innovative color placement, as well as precision cutting. Toni worked as a top artist for L Óreal Professional Products Division/Mizani for 25 years. She is currently a top artist for the Wella Brand and the Product Club Team sharing her vast knowledge in advanced hair coloring techniques. She travels across the country and abroad, educating and training some of the country’s top stylists. Toni is an American Board Certified Hair Colorist. She has trained
extensively at The Redken Exchange, Vidal Sassoon and the Wella Institute in advanced hair coloring, haircutting and styling.
As a freelance artist, I love transforming people. I like having what I consider a blank canvas and then creating what I want. Toni’s work has been featured in many
magazines including Latina Magazine, Modern Salon, The Colorist and American Salon. Toni was the key make-up artist for New York Fashion Designer for Byron Lars’ Spring Collection video. She has styled hair for NY Fashion Week. Toni managed the tresses of Def Jam Recording Artist and grammy winner R&B singer Chrisette Michelle, Maybach Music Group R&B Singer, Teedra Moses and The CW News Correspondence Sharon Carpenter. Toni was also the exclusive hair and wig designer for the critically-acclaimed Off Broadway musical Winter Wonderettes.
