Announcements from the Director, Jaime L. Del Razo, Ph.D.
Zoom profile name should be your student's name: This can be done by changing the name in the profile setting before logging onto SOAP (You can change the name back after class). Please help us get your student's in their class right away, by completing this important step before joining the next S.O.A.P. session;
Join S.O.A.P. session at 3:15pm for room assignment: Your student's S.O.A.P. session will still start at 3:30pm but by joining 15 minutes early, this should give me sufficient time to assign a room to your students while you are in the waiting room. Of course this is dependent on step #1 above being completed.
Help students find and join their breakout room invitation: If steps #1 and #2 are completed above, then upon entering, there should be a "Join Breakout Room" invitation waiting for your student(s). Please ensure you find the invitation and click on the invite right away (see attached image for an example of what this invitation looks like).
